Rafael Enrique Matías Rodríguez (Raffy). Singer, musician and composer. He was born on September 26, 1969 in the town of Jarabacoa, Province of La Vega, Dominican Republic. Son of speaker and poet Daniel Enrique Matias Diaz (deceased), and Professor and Director, Atty. Santa Eva Rodriguez Ravelo. Nephew of the famous Dominican comedian gone untimely Julio Cesar Matias (Pololo). From an early age he was interested in music. At 10 years of age belonged to the Children's Choir of Jarabacoa Vacation Center.
