Filter any list

Clean, Dirty, Intro, Outro, Acapella, Instrumental, Extended, Remix, Transition and Mashup chips sit above every track list — folders, New Releases, Genres crates, Favorites, Recently Played and Search — each with a live count of what’s in it.

They stack on top of genre rather than replacing it, so you can pull just the acapellas out of an Afrobeat crate, or every intro in this week’s Latin folder. A track can be more than one at a time — an “Intro Dirty” shows up under both.

How preview works

Hit play on any track to hear it before you download. The player bar shows the title, artist, genre and length — with Download right there.

Settings

  1. 1Click your name in the top-right corner and choose Settings.

  2. 2Download directory shows where your files land — Change moves it anywhere you like, and Open folder jumps straight there. The rest of the panel lets you have downloads open automatically or play a sound when they finish, hit Refresh Library to pull the newest tracks and folders without restarting, manage your account or devices, and check your version for updates.

Upgraded from an older version and couldn’t find Download directory? A bug in earlier builds hid the row on upgraded installs — your downloads were still going to your normal Downloads folder the whole time. Update to 3.0.14 and it’s back.

Mac install

The Mac app is signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens normally — no security workaround needed. It needs macOS 12 (Monterey) or later (check Apple menu → About This Mac, and update via Software Update if you’re on macOS 11 or older). Just pick the build that matches your Mac:

Which one do I download?

  1. Click the Apple menu in the top-left, then About This Mac.
  2. If the chip says Apple M1, M2, M3 or M4, get the Apple Silicon download.
  3. If it says Intel, get the Intel download.

Installing it

  1. Open the .dmg file you downloaded.
  2. Drag the LMP Record Pool app into your Applications folder.
  3. Open it from Applications and sign in with your iamlmp account.

Canceling your subscription

Cancel anytime from your iamlmp.com account settings, or directly in PayPal:

  1. Log in to your PayPal account.
  2. Click Profile at the top of the page.
  3. Click My Money, then Update beside “My preapproved payments”.
  4. Select the payment, then click Cancel.

Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge — after the renewal date it’s non-refundable, though you keep access for the months you’ve already paid for.

Troubleshooting

App won't run

The app isn't showing music / it just keeps spinning
Log out, close the program completely, then log right back in. If that doesn't fix it, contact us right away at 407-364-5855.
The app won't load at all (macOS)?
Do a clean reinstall. Download AppCleaner, drag the LMP Record Pool app into it to completely wipe it from your system, then reinstall the LMP Record Pool app fresh. Get AppCleaner →
Is there a Record Pool app update?
The app updates itself — you'll get a notification when one is ready and it installs automatically. If you're stuck on an old version, log out, uninstall it, and grab the latest from the download buttons above.

Device & login

I can't connect — it says my device is already connected
Your account runs on one computer at a time. Open Manage device in your account and approve the new computer — that switches the app over and signs the old device out. Manage device →
I need to deauthorize and add a new laptop
Head to your device page and approve the new laptop. Approving switches the record-pool app to it and signs the old device out automatically. Manage device →
I paid but I can't log in
Double-check your username and password — 95% of the time it's just a typo in one of them. Still stuck? Text us at 407-364-5855.
The Manage Account option isn't showing
Your account can only be attached to one computer at a time. To move it to another computer, deauthorize the current one from your device page, then authorize the new machine. Manage device →

Account & billing

How long does my account take to activate?
Same day you pay — your account activates as soon as your payment goes through. Heads up: some banks take 2–3 days to process a PayPal payment, so if yours is held up we recommend calling PayPal.
My account says pending
Once your payment goes through it may still show pending — just try logging in; it usually works right away.
My account says it has expired
Check that your PayPal payment method hasn't expired. If it has, update it — or just re-sign up from the plans page to restore access.
I canceled my account but want to come back
Welcome back — just sign up again from the plans page. It's the same account, so your favorites and playlists are exactly where you left them. If checkout won't let you buy, it means your old subscription hasn't finished closing yet: that clears on its own within a day, or text us at 407-364-5855 and we'll open it up straight away. One thing to know — we only waive a cancellation once, so if you've cancelled more than twice we may not be able to take the membership again. See plans →

Downloads

Where do my downloads go?
When a download starts you'll get a notification. Mac downloads arrive as .tar files, Windows as .zip — when it's finished you'll get a 'complete' notification, then head to your downloads folder and unzip. Downloading 25 tracks won't finish in 10 seconds; it depends on your connection, so wait for the system to say it's done.
Download speed is slow
It comes down to your internet connection and the file size. If you're pulling several large videos on a slow connection, it won't download quickly — we highly recommend the fastest internet possible when downloading big videos and MP3s.
