Afro B
Afro B (born Ross-Emmanuel Bayeto, February 25, 1993, in Greenwich, London, England) is a British Afro-pop singer, songwriter and DJ of Ivorian heritage. He calls his sound "Afrowave", a mix of Afrobeat melodies with hip-hop and dancehall, and named a series of three mixtapes after it between 2017 and 2019. Before his breakthrough he was a resident DJ at the London club NW10. His 2018 single "Drogba (Joanna)", written as a tribute to footballer Didier Drogba, set off the #DrogbaChallenge dance and climbed to number 23 on Billboard's US R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart. He signed with EMPIRE in June 2019.
