Nueve Epico
Edison Raphael Ovalle, known by his stage name Nueve Epico, is an International singer, songwriter and producer from Bronx, New York. Creating industry quality music from a tiny room he calls the “Peanut Butter Room”, Nueve Epico’s all original “feel-good music” brings a new sound to the tropical music scene. At 18, he received a call to play for the singer Toby Love. His unique way of playing instantly gained him recognition with other bands performing internationally with Toby Love, Members of Don Omar’s Marcy Place, Grupo Optimo, Jay & Dario and many more. The experience forever shaped his passion for music. Playing piano for these artists played a major role in Nueve’s music career but he knew his talents wouldn’t be limited to only that. He wanted something more. In 2011, Nueve went on to do studio work for several artists laying down piano lines and melodies. Having a passion for creating and being in the studio he then used his knowledge of different instruments to make full productions. “Waiting for no one”, he designed, assembled and launched his own studio in 2014 where he now works on his own projects creating Blends of Reggae Riddims, Merengue, Dancehall, Soca .
