Guitonsky
David Ortiz, a Spanish music song-writer with a deep sense of poetic disposition, was born into a family with roots of musical inclination. In view of the fact that his father was a guitarist and with several percussionists on his mother’s side, he began playing the conga drums at an early age during Christmas gatherings. Born in Puerto Rico, Güitonsky moved to Cleveland, Ohio where his high regard to the Spanish cultural sounds of Salsa, Rumba and Cumbia ignited an interest in pursuing music to the fullest. This brought about an inescapable drive to join a top Latin band in Ohio, Son Gitano. His collaboration to the group in launching an original promotional album has propelled his reputation as a performer. His ingenuity as a new and upcoming entertainer, with the sounds of electronic merengue and salsa choque, have produced the breakout single “Beso.” The single has debuted on radio stations driving his musical career to new heights. As an independent recording artist, Güitonsky has recently toured the United States with performances at Gala’s such as the Miss hio Latina Pageant.
