Mr. Everywhere app — Privacy Policy
Who provides this app
The Mr. Everywhere app is published by Mr. Everywhere. The music, videos and booking features are provided by IAMLMP (iamlmp.com), which runs the servers the app connects to.
What the app does not do
- There are no accounts and no sign-in.
- There is no advertising, and no analytics or tracking tools.
- Your information is not sold or shared for advertising.
Information used when you use the app
- Technical information. Like any internet service, our servers receive what is needed to deliver the app to your device — such as your IP address and your device and app version — and keep standard server logs for security and reliability.
- Play counts. Playing a mix adds one to that mix’s public play count. The count is not linked to you.
- On your device. The app remembers what you were listening to, so it can pick up where you left off. That stays on your device, together with small settings files (cookies) the app needs to work. None of them are used for tracking.
- Videos. The videos in the app are YouTube videos. Where they appear, their preview images load from YouTube; when you press play, the video plays in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. In both cases YouTube (Google) receives information under its own privacy policy.
- Instagram. The app shows Mr. Everywhere’s latest public Instagram posts. Their pictures are copies kept on our own server, so viewing them does not contact Instagram. Tapping a post opens it on Instagram, under Instagram’s (Meta’s) own privacy policy.
- WhatsApp. “Chat on WhatsApp” on the Booking page opens a WhatsApp chat with Mr. Everywhere. What you write there goes from you to Mr. Everywhere through WhatsApp, under WhatsApp’s (Meta’s) own privacy policy; the app doesn’t see it.
- Booking requests. If you send a booking request, the details you enter (your name, email and phone, and the event’s type, date, times, place, guests, equipment, budget and any message) are emailed directly to Mr. Everywhere so they can reply to you. The app does not keep a copy. The email is delivered by our email provider, which keeps standard delivery records.
- Notifications. If the app offers notifications, they are off until you turn them on in the app (“Turn on notifications” on Home) and allow them on your phone. Then your phone gives the app a push token — a random code that lets notifications reach this device — which is kept on our server together with whether the phone is an iPhone or an Android phone. Nothing else is kept with it: not your name, an account, your location or your IP address. The token is used only to send you Mr. Everywhere’s notifications — new mixes, show nights and news, two a day at most — which are delivered through Google’s Firebase Cloud Messaging and, on an iPhone, Apple’s push service. If notifications are paused for the app, nothing is sent and the token is kept for when they are back, under the same rules. To stop them, tap “Turn off notifications” in the app (on Home, or on the Support page) or switch them off in your phone’s settings. The token is deleted from our server when you turn notifications off in the app, the next time a notification can’t reach your phone because the app was removed, or once the app hasn’t checked in with our server for 270 days.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and does not knowingly collect their information.
